Albert Bichot Bourgogne Aligoté is a fresh, lively white from the historic Beaune house, made from Burgundy's other white grape.

Burgundy | Family House Since 1831 | Crisp Aligoté

Tasting Notes

Fresh nose featuring scents of white flowers and fruit (apple, pear, lemon) underscored by a touch of minerality. This wine is fresh and lively on the palate, with nice balance and a lovely, refreshing finish.

A bright, mineral Burgundian white and the classic base for a kir.

Why you'll love it: it is crisp, low-fuss and food-friendly, a refreshing change from Chardonnay at a gentle price.

About Albert Bichot

Albert Bichot is a historic Burgundy house, founded in Beaune in 1831 and still family-owned, now run by the sixth generation under Albéric Bichot. It is one of the region's larger names, farming around 100 hectares of certified-organic vineyards across six estates that stretch from Chablis in the north to Beaujolais in the south, with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay at its heart. The house is also the leading buyer at the historic Hospices de Beaune charity auction.

Perfect with oysters, goat's cheese, or a simple green salad. It is also the traditional base for a kir with a dash of crème de cassis.
