Tasting Notes

Fresh, light and fruity sparkling wine, with green apple and lemon aromas, fine bubbles and a delicate palate. Vibrant and fresh.

The Process

100% Pinot Blanc, hand harvested, pneumatically pressed, and fermented in tank before a second fermentation in bottle (méthode traditionnelle). The wine is aged on lees for 15 months, developing its fine, persistent mousse and the biscuity complexity that sets it apart from entry-level Crémant.

About Domaine Boeckel

Founded in 1853 by Frédéric Boeckel in the village of Mittelbergheim, Domaine Boeckel is now in its fifth generation under brothers Jean-Daniel and Thomas Boeckel. The family holds 24 hectares of certified organic vineyards in and around Mittelbergheim, including parcels of the prized Zotzenberg Grand Cru. Boeckel began producing Crémant in 1980; today it is one of the estate's most celebrated wines. Mittelbergheim itself is a member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France.

Perfect with oysters, smoked salmon blinis, or a classic Alsatian tarte flambée. The crisp acidity and fine mousse cut beautifully through rich, savoury flavours.
