Tasting Notes: Rolls out of glass with lift and complexity of Indian spices (cumin, turmeric), sandalwood, berries and herbs. The palate is exquisite and long with delicacy and tension. The flow of cherry and red berries wrapped in earth and mild char.
REVIEWS:
Silver award at Decanter International Wine Awards 94/100 Lovely scented florals with red cherry and savoury, earthy overtones; silky and bright with polished tannins and judicious oak use.
95 Points - James Suckling "Beautiful aromas of sliced strawberries, wet stone, rose and rosemary. Medium-bodied with silky tannins. So fresh and clear on the palate with lovely floral and strawberry character. Pretty. Nuance drives the palate. Subtle and delicate. A genuine delight to drink. From organically grown grapes." 96 Points - Cam Douglas MS - Outstanding - Complex, savoury, natural, varietal and intrgiguin. Aromas and flavours reflect a clay stone mineral quality, dried herb savoury spices, a core of red cherry, apple and wild flowers then a gun-flint quality. Delicious, new, textured, savoury and fresh on the palate. Taut texture with tannins and acidity laying out the foundation across the palate then with an overlay of fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet. Delicious, youthful, lengthy and fine. Great drinking from 2025 through 2035.
