Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé is one of Champagne's most recognisable rosés, a 100% Pinot Noir made by skin maceration since 1968, from Tours-sur-Marne.

Champagne, France | 100% Pinot Noir | Celebration-Worthy

Tasting Notes

An elegant Pinot Noir Champagne with a delicate colour that naturally shifts from vibrant raspberry to a soft salmon-pink. Expect an expressive bouquet of ripe red fruits: raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry and black cherry, balanced by a lively freshness and intensity. The palate is bright and clean on the attack, yet rounded and supple throughout. 100% Pinot Noir. Serve well-chilled between 8°C and 10°C.

A benchmark rosé Champagne, made by maceration for real depth of red-fruit character.

Why you'll love it: A proper, structured rosé Champagne rather than an afterthought, with vivid berry fruit and a clean finish. Lovely as an aperitif and a beautiful gift. Presented in ribbon gift boxes, six to a case.

The Process

Since 1968 Laurent-Perrier has made its rosé by maceration, letting the Pinot Noir skins steep with the juice rather than blending in red wine. It is a more demanding method, and it gives the Cuvée Rosé its depth of colour, richness and aromatic precision.

Reviews

92 points, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, April 2019: "Smoky red-berry fruit, blood orange and warm biscuits."

92 points, Wine Enthusiast (Roger Voss), November 2020: "Texture with bright fruit and a bit of age."

The current release is based on the 2019 vintage, disgorged November 2024, with an 8 g/L dosage.

The Royal Warrant

Laurent-Perrier holds the Royal Warrant as a supplier of Champagne to the Royal Household. King Charles III granted it in 2024, making Laurent-Perrier the first Champagne house to receive his warrant, a relationship that began when he appointed the house as Prince of Wales in 1998.

About Laurent-Perrier

Laurent-Perrier is an independent, family-owned Champagne house founded in 1812 at Tours-sur-Marne, a Grand Cru village in the heart of the region. After passing to cellar master Eugène Laurent and his widow Mathilde-Emilie Perrier, who gave the house its name, it was bought by Marie-Louise de Nonancourt in 1939. Her son Bernard de Nonancourt, a veteran of the French Resistance, took charge in 1948 and built the modern house style of freshness, elegance and purity, growing Laurent-Perrier into one of the world's leading Champagne houses. It remains independent and family-run, today led by Bernard's daughters Alexandra Pereyre de Nonancourt and Stéphanie Meneux de Nonancourt, with Chardonnay at the heart of its blends.

Perfect with grilled prawns, Parma ham, or summer berry desserts. The ripe red-fruit character and fresh acidity suit both savoury charcuterie and fruit-led puddings, and it stands up well to fragrant Asian spice.
