Tasting Note
Pale in colour, with lovely straw margins. On the nose the wine shows subtle notes of toasty oak, white stone fruits, and just a hint of oyster shell with pitchy citrus. These aromatics carry through to the palate, where zesty citrus meets mellow creamy yeast flavours, finishing with balance and length.

About Pask Winery
While flying above the Gimblett Gravels in his topdressing plane, founder Chris Pask spotted the perfect location for exceptional grape-growing. The valley’s sun-kissed, light, stony soils—sheltered from the Pacific breeze—were ideal for winegrowing.
The first vines were planted in the ancient Ngaruroro riverbed, establishing Hawke’s Bay’s renowned Gimblett Gravels wine district. Four decades later, the Pask winemaking team remain as passionate as ever about creating wines to be shared and enjoyed.
Every bottle of Pask wine reflects decades of experience, an ethos of sustainability, and meticulous care at every step of the winemaking process—elegantly expressing the unique terroir. Pask produces four ranges of wines, each offering distinctive character and style. Except for the Instinct line, all Pask wines are estate grown and bottled.
