Trinity Hill's Hawke's Bay Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh, food-friendly white grown across the winery's Hawke's Bay vineyards, with a savoury, mineral edge that sets it apart from the usual.

Hawke's Bay | Food-Friendly | Fresh NZ Sauvignon Blanc

Tasting Notes

Lifted aromas of tropical fruits, limes and nectarines lead to a palate with intense citrus/stone fruit flavours balanced by a savoury, mineral-like quality and salivating acidity. A delicious Sauvignon Blanc that can be enjoyed on its own or partnered with fresh shellfish or Asian-inspired dishes. New season's asparagus or goat's cheese would also be sensational matches.

A savoury, mineral take on Hawke's Bay Sauvignon Blanc, built for the table.

Why you'll love it: A brighter, more savoury style than the Marlborough norm, lovely as an aperitif and even better with shellfish or fresh goat's cheese. Drink it young while it's crisp and lifted.

About Trinity Hill

Trinity Hill was founded in 1993 as one of the early pioneers of Hawke's Bay's Gimblett Gravels, the free-draining, stony district laid down by the old Ngaruroro River and now recognised as one of New Zealand's benchmark sites for Syrah and Chardonnay. The idea was hatched over dinner at London's Bleeding Heart restaurant, and more than thirty years on the winery is known internationally for its food-friendly, terroir-driven reds and whites, led by its icon Syrah, Homage. Chief winemaker Warren Gibson has guided the cellar since 1997, a quality-over-quantity approach that has made Trinity Hill a fixture on serious restaurant lists.

Perfect with fresh shellfish, new-season asparagus, or goat's cheese. The citrus and mineral freshness lifts delicate, green and briny flavours.
